Launching a new market: what to do in the first month

The minimum set of steps without which entering a new region turns into an expensive experiment.

Week 1. Listen, don't talk

Before launching ads, run 10–15 interviews with people from the new country. Not experts and not competitors — your future audience. Without that you'll sell them what you want to sell, not what they're ready to buy.

Week 2. Localize meaning

Rewrite the offer, the landing page and three core posts. Don't translate — rewrite. Tone, examples, currency, cases must be local.

Week 3. Small paid test

Run a small budget on the narrowest segment. The goal isn't sales — it's training the algorithm and checking whether the message lands.

Week 4. Decide

Don't look at CAC or CTR — look at whether meaningful conversations and inquiries are showing up in the inbox. If they aren't, don't scale, rewrite the offer. If they are, scale gradually.
